On the 27 November 2012 28 Members of Liverpool CERSA attended  the November Lunch at The Birches Restaurant Birkenhead adjacent to Conway Park Underground Station.   It was good to see so many old colleagues enjoying the three course meal.

November Walk

NOVEMBER WALK

On 14 November 2012 12 members walked from Aigburth Station via Sefton Park, the newly opened Festival Gardens, Otterspool Prom for lunch at the Harvester Pub Otterspool where they were joined by 7 other members.   The following photos taken by Peter Brindley show the Peter Pan Statue Sefton Park, the walkers entering Otterspool, walking through Otterspool and the newly opened Festival gardens.

Mersey Tunnel Tour & Septmeber Walk

On September 1st a dozen members were given a two hour guided tour of the Mersey Tunnel visiting the Control Room in Georges Dock Building before going underground to the new safety areas and the lower half of the Road Tunnel.   The second photo was taken on the top of Thurstaton Hill during the September Walk.
