TRIP ON THE LLANGOLOLEN RAILWAY

On Tuesday 4 June 2013, a sunny, hot and cloudless day, 14 Liverpool CERSA members went on a 15 miles steam train round trip from Llangollen to Carrog.   The line follows the River Dee and passes through some magnificent scenery. 
Afterwards we all adjourned to the Bridge End Hotel, Llangollen for liquid refreshments and Lunch.

APRIL LUNCH

16 Liverpool CERSA members met for a Three Course Lunch  on the 30mApril 2013 at the Academy Restaurant Liverpool.    Although everyone was saddened by the news of the Death of our Treasurer, Bryan Kayley,  the meal was  enjoyed by everybody.

On a bitterly cold March day 13 Livepool CERSA Members and Partners met for a hot meal and drinks at the Lighthouse Pub Wallasey.   All enjoyed a good chat and reminiscences  of the days that used to be.

On Tuesday 19 February 2013 twenty two Liverpool CERSA members went to celebrate the Chinese New Year, "The Year Of The Snake",  at the Capitol Restaurant Birkenhead.   All members received a Mug from the Restaurant inscribed with details of "The Year Of The Snake".   Many thanks to Bryan Kayley for organising the event.

January 2013 Lunch

On Tuesday 29 January 15 Liverpool CERSA members met for our first monthly lunch of 2013 at the Adelphi Hotel Liverpool.   For the princely sum oof £7.50 all enjoyed a good choice 3 Course meal with coffee included.   Unfortunately some members were unable to attend due to illness.  Thanks to Eunice Powell for organising the meal.

CHRISTMAS BARGE LUNCH










On Monday 17 December 2012 41 CERSA Members and friends set sail on the Shropshire Union Canal on a Barge from the Mill Hotel Chester for their Annual Christmas Lunch.   The Cruise lasted 2 1/2 hours while the guests enjoyed a leisurely 4 Course Lunch finishing up with mince pies and coffee.   Many thanks to Bryan Kayley for organising it and providing a difficult but entertaining quiz on route.
