May 2015 Meal

On 21 May 2015 19 Liverpool CERSA members June meal was transferred from the Liverpool Catering College to the Old Custom House, Cunard Building Liverpool due to the Catering College staff being seconded to the Cunard Building to open a Pop Up restaurant to celebrate the Cunard 175th anniversary and the arrival of the Three Queens in the River Mersey.
The meal in the Old Long Room brought back many memories for those who worked there (myself included).   Thanks to Reg Griffiths for arranging the meal.

LIVERPOOL CERSA 2915 A.G.M.

14 Liverpool CERSA  members met at The LIVERPOOL Pub on 10 March for their A.G.M.   Reg Griffiths was elected Chairman and Margaret Clark as Vice Chair and all the  present Committee were re-elected.   The new Constitution was agreed after a short discussion/

   

FEBRUARY 2015 LUNCH

On Tuesday 24 February 2015 thirteen Liverpool CERSA members ( including their wives and friends) met and celebrated the Chinese New Year of the The Goat at the Capitol Restaurant, Birkenhead.

FEBRUARY 2015 WALK

February Walk 2015

On 11 February 2015  Bob Powell led 8 walkers through West Kirby ending up on Caldy and Grange Hills.   Here they arrived at the Mariners Column and a huge Obelisk War Memorial to the fallen local men of the 1914-1918, 1939-1945, Korea and Afghanistan campaigns. JANUARY 2015 LUNCH

January 2015 Lunch

On a very cold 20 January fifteen Liverpool CERSA members (including their spouses) met for a three course Lunch at the Adelphi  Hotel Liverpool costing a princely sum of £6.00 per head.  
There was much talk of past reminiscences and those who we had lost in the past year.

Christmas Lunch 2014

 CHRISTMAS LUNCH 2014

Liverpool CERSA's Christmas Lunch was held at The Birches Restaurant Birkenhead on Tuesday 2 December 2014. 32 Members and their partners came on a sunny but very cold day to enjoy a 3 course traditional meal and meet old friends who included our President Ian Clark and his wife.   Tony Cross-Rudkin did his bit running the raffle in his usual efficient manner.
